Search For Flickr Photos By Color

It would be better if the folks at Flickr would implement this wonderful idea but unfortunately they don't have such plans to do so. However, we can use other Web apps to help us find Flickr photos by color. One of them got to be a Japanese site called Flickr Color Selectr. Although the words are in Japanese, but the creator is thoughtful enough to include English translation to accompany it.

To browse Flickr photos, simply select a color from the color picker using a slider of enter the value of the RGB (red, blue and green) color space and HSV (hue, saturation and value). When you've chosen a color, the background will automatically change and photos related to the color will be shown. To view the orignial Flickr photo, click on the image and you'll be directed to the Flickr user's photo.

The back side has a new surprise A 3.2 Mega Pixel camera, though even mid range phones for vendors like Nokia boast a 5.0 Mega Pixel camera these days. What would be interesting is the video capabilities of the G2 (if there are any). The current rumors suggest that this handset would hit the shelves...
