This article suggests workarounds to help you gain access to all blocked sites either by your ISPs (Internet Service Providers), schools and office.

Here's are a few ways of gaining access to blocked sites.

1. Using IP Instead of URL

To access to blocked websites, simply type in your IP address in your browser address bar instead of the URL.
To find the IP address, open 'cmd', type in 'ping domain' command and hit enter. Alternatively, you can find it online using a free service such as WhatsMyIP.org.

2. Using a proxy website

How a proxy site works? Firstly, it connects users to targeted sites with a different IP address, hence hiding the users' original form from detectable. A proxy website helps users to bypass internet restrictions (such as web filters, firewalls etc) from ISPs, schools and offices to give you freedom online.

There are actually thousands of proxy sites unavailable in the Internet. However, today I am only going to list down three of the famous sites which I usually used.

Not only Unblocked.org aims to bypass internet restrictions, it also acts as an online anonymous service which protects your identity and hides your IP, ISP and location so you remain anonymous to every website you visit!

HideMyAss.com hides your online identity and bypass your work/school web filter with ease. Moreover, they also offer free web proxy lists (IP:PORT) which are updated daily.

This free proxy site helps you hide your ip and browse your favorite web sites secure even from behind firewalls or filters, whether you're at work, school, or college. Futhermore, RU00.com is powered by a fiber-optic 1000mbit multi-homed connection to the internet!

3. Google & Yahoo Cache

A cache is a collection of data duplicating original values stored elsewhere or computed earlier. Hence, by entering the URL in Google and Yahoo search and clicking on the 'cached' link, you would be able to access any blocked sites you want.

4. URL Redirection Service

Here's another alternative way to access to blocked sites. Some sites such as TinyURL.com and SnipURL.com provides URL redirection service or also known short URL service. These sites converts them to a shorter URL, hence it might help you bypass the the settings.

5. Read the Web Via Email

Web2Mail.com is a free service which enables you to search the web by email. With this service, you can enter to a blocked site. For example, to search for "MySpace", simply send an email to www@web2mail.com with the subject "www.MySpace.com" in your email message. They uses a popular search engine to perform your search then reply to you with your search results, usually within 5 minutes.

6. Bypass Using Online Translation Tools

This method is very much similar to the web proxy. Online translation services such as Google Translate and Yahoo! BabelFish can do the work for you. Simply enter the URL (website that's blocked) under the 'Translate a Web Page', retranslate it and Google or BabelFish will fetch you the content.

7. Try
an Anonymizer

An anonymizer is a tool that attempts to make activity on the Internet untraceable. It accesses the Internet on the user's behalf, protecting personal information by hiding the source computer's identifying information.

There are not many free services provided around but I managed to find one service that is absolutely free!

Gizmodo has uncovered some leaked photo Google Android

The Google Android powered smartphones by HTC. Their first attempt with mix, the HTC T-Mobile G1, didn't quite had the eye candyish stuff and get a big fan following. And even though Google announced an unlocked Android G1 around the 2008 holidays, people still preferred the iPhone 3G. Gizmodo has uncovered some leaked photos of a new handset which appear to be quite authentic. The first thing you would notice here is its shiny plastic finish, which is very much welcoming from the pale gray look on G1. Also this time around there is not physical keyboard present, which is a little disappointing. Though the touchscreen is large, but we know the current Android interface had some issues. The back side has a new surprise A 3.2 Mega Pixel camera, though even mid range phones for vendors like Nokia boast a 5.0 Mega Pixel camera these days. What would be interesting is the video capabilities of the G2 (if there are any). The current rumors suggest that this handset would hit the shelves...
