MetaTuber: Browse, Watch & Download YouTube Videos All in One Page

metatuberOn the net, there're tons of services out there enabling you to download YouTube videos as the popular video sharing platform doesn't have the feature to allow video fans to download videos from the site.

Today, I'm going to share with you a new start-up with allows you to browse, watch and download YouTube videos directly from the site. Using a much better searching interface than YouTube's basic search, MetaTuber lets you search for videos you want by typing in the keywords and choosing whether to rank the results according to relevance, date of upload, view count or rating. Not only that, you can even copy and paste the YouTube video link into the search bar and download it!

When the search results appear, you can choose whether to play or download the video to your computer. The cool thing which MetaTuber has is that it shows several thumbnails of the video when you roll the mouse over. Playing the video doesn't directs you to the original YouTube video page. Instead, MetaTuber plays the video on the site itself with a pop-up (the interface is really cool!).

On the sidebar, you would find videos grouped together according to new videos, most popular video this week and most popular videos ever. You can explore and discover more videos by clicking the links under the "Random searches this week" category.

MetaTuber is indeed a cool and useful Web app which you can't missed!

And even though Google announced an unlocked Android G1 around the 2008 holidays, people still preferred the iPhone 3G. Gizmodo has uncovered some leaked photos of a new handset which appear to be quite authentic. The first thing you would notice here is its shiny plastic finish, which is very much welcoming from the pale gray look on G1. Also this time around there is not physical keyboard present, which is a little disappointing. Though the touchscreen is large, but we know the current Android interface had some issues. The back side has a new surprise A 3.2 Mega Pixel camera, though even mid range phones for vendors like Nokia boast a 5.0 Mega Pixel camera these days. What would be interesting is the video capabilities of the G2 (if there are any). The current rumors suggest that this handset would hit the shelves...
