KidZui: Turning Firefox into a Fun, Kid-Safe Browser

If you're a busy parent who just finds it difficult to keep track what your kids are doing on the "dangerous" Internet, then KidZui will be the suitable choice. KidZui is a custom browser and also a Firefox extension that keeps the kids safe on the Internet within the realm of approved content and at the meantime, it also provides over one million games, YouTube videos and kid-related websites for them to play or surf.

Dubbed itself as "The Internet for Kids", it's really the best and fun place for kids between 3 to 12. KidZui allows kids to create their own avatars to express themselves online and they can even earned points for exploration and discovery. Websites are being moderated and updated frequently by many trained teachers and professionals to make sure that the content are safe for the kids.

The KidZui browsing experience is quite graphical and stimulating. It provides over 7,000 categories such as "animals", "rainforests" for kids to explore. When kids find something interesting on KidZui, they can keep track of your favorite websites, photos and videos. One impressive feature about KidZui is the auto-complete search. By entering the first letters of a word, all relevant results will be shown. Kids can also add or block friends and share any websites they've stumbled across with them.

KidZui comes in either a custom browser or a Firefox extension (supports 3.0-3.1 beta2). It's free but if users want more features such as time spent online reports, advanced tools for parents, and many more, they can sign up for a premium account.

What would be interesting is the video capabilities of the G2 (if there are any). The current rumors suggest that this handset would hit the shelves...
