Why Does Google need not to build an Operating System at all to Kill Microsoft?

The Mission of Chrome: Destroy the Microsoft Eco-system It’s pretty obvious that the folks at Google didn’t developed Chrome to challenge other browser giants such as Firefox or Internet Explorer. Instead, it has further means. With Chrome, Google is able to create another Internet Develop Platform on Windows, to build a new Eco-system. Currently, many applications are developed based on the Windows API and it’s an Eco-system which is built by Microsoft. This is also the reason of that Microsoft can control desktops for so many years. Every developer must use the Windows API standard and no other alternatives, otherwise it could not be reached out to users. Any corporation out there who intends to beat Microsoft in terms of operating system market share must destroy this Eco-system balance first by simply pulling loyal users away from Windows. To reach this tough goal, this corporation must first let developers not depend on the Windows API standard. Therefore, I think the most imp...

Games + Social Network = ?

It’s indeed a dream pairing. Social networking are meant for IT savvy people. Gamers, are, one of the biggest IT savvy groups in the world, looks to be the perfect people to fall into the charm of social networking. Both parties, game makers and social networking companies, tried countlessly to win the gamers over. But did it work? Well, I personally feel that it’s not likely. First of all, let’s talk about the most likely place to lure them in: Facebook. In my school, my entire cohort gets to buy and use laptops (macbooks) and bring them to school for study. Of course, games are not allowed. However, most of us found a “clever” way to continue playing but avoid being caught. Well, the game is known as Mousehunt . Guess what, it has taken our school by storm and everyone’s playing it. It has been surprisingly popular- only needing to click a button once every fifteen minutes. However, will it draw actual gamers in? I doubt so. My first online game was Neopets , and that was few years b...

Will The USB 3's Modernize Tech World

The Current USB has been really very usefull for me and obviously for you guys also , but its time I think we say Good-Bye to it.The USB 3 is here. The USB plug that we currently use , is not the same in the modern USB 3's.It will have the plug and play feature. It’s reportedly going to be divided into two parts. The first part will be the USB 2.0 four-wire version with UTP data pair and power with ground; to be backward compatible. The second part will have five connections: two UTP lane (one is uplink and the other is downlink) with a ground. An optical connector and cable will be available in the future; for the high speed transfers. You can find the proper USB 2 detail here . USB 2 is the industry standard. There are over 2 billion of USB devices being connected every day. Everyone is going to benefit from this update. When it comes down to it, the major improvement everyone is clamoring for is the speed. USB 3 is reported as saying it will transfer at speeds of 4.8 Gbps [ten ...

Chrome Vs Mozilla The Modern Tech Street Fight

Mozilla Firefox 3.5 has been released and I have to admit that I’m really enjoying the competition between the two brothers. Google has really set the roof on fire with this competition between Firefox and Chrome . The updates from Mozilla are coming out faster, chrome is already on version 3 of their flagship browser. The battle between Mozilla and Google over who has the best browser is really kicking in some pure competitive spirit that we haven’t seen in a long time. Ever since chrome has come out onto the market it has really put a fire under the competition. Internet Explorer is still underdeveloped and so outclassed in comparison to the open-source efforts presented by Mozilla and Google; it’s extremely funny. Chrome has reworked completely how websites load resulting in faster webpages better performance and lower memory resources that are being utilized. They have introduced features and functions; I’m not saying that they wouldn’t get their, but it seems Google has th...

Hotmail Goes 500 Gb ! How Much Can You Put In To Exceed It

Windows Live Hotmail’s storage has gone to 500 GB in limit. I personally can’t imagine why you need that many unless if you are storing music files or whatever “backup” on your email inbox. For example, I have about 13,000 emails on my Gmail account and it’s only using 388 MB at the moment. But hey, maybe if you are working in the design industry or in civil engineering, you probably need to transfer and store megabytes of file samples? Who knows. Anyway, it’s free and it doesn’t hurt to have more than you need. Print Page

Twitter The New BBC And CNN

When the death of Michael Jackson was announced publicly the first few fans who arrived outside the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles where Michael Jackson was brought and later pronounced dead did not get the news from your usual news outlet, but from an unlikely source - Twitter. The fans who arrived first had learned about Jackson's health like so many who get their news nowadays: by reading the ever-flowing feed of real-time information on the microblogging service. According to Associated Press, Jackson's unexpected death at 50 was just the latest major news event where Twitter played a central role. But just as quickly as Twitter has emerged as a news source, so, too, has its susceptibility to false rumors become abundantly apparent. The extraordinary amount of news coverage the mainstream media has recently devoted to Twitter has led some to think the press is in love with the 3-year-old microblogging service. But it's a jealous love. Twitter...

Entre Card In New Managment

That’s right. Entrecard has been sold by Graham Langdon and acquired by ZipRunner Inc. This has been posted on the Entrecard blog and sent via e-mail to Entrecard users. The letter reads: Dear Entrecarders, It is with great excitement that I announce Entrecard.com, Inc. has been acquired by Los Angeles based ZipRunner Inc. ZipRunner has the resources, vision, and dedication to Entrecard that will allow it to grow in pursuit of the vision I laid out nearly two years ago. Moving forward, my relationship to Entrecard will be that of an adviser, and I will help the good folks at ZipRunner take the whole project to the next level. Expect a follow up communication from them very soon. ZipRunner Inc. was chosen out of a number of potential suitors because of the resources they can dedicate to the project, their exciting vision for the company’s future, and their understanding of social media and the blogosphere. I urge you all to look forward to a bigger, better Entrecard,...

LG BL40 Is The New Eye-Candy In Town

LG BL40 is a pretty and nice in the flesh, Some people think it  looks more like some sort of fancy universal remote control than a high-end cellphone,  It has a  thin frame and 21:9 aspect ratio-rocking 4-inch touchscreen display makes you quite imposing, .  It only have 335MB of internal memory, but a little bit of Ginkgo Biloba and a microSD card should do the trick. By the way, here is a little bit more about BL40 friend, BL42? She’s pretty damn cute and I'd love to get to know a bit more about her and her 5 megapixel shooter… Hit the jump for more shots. Unlock your Iphone 3GS 3.0 with PurpleRa1n and UltraSn0w

A lot of people namely the Iphone 3GS users are blowing hot and cold if they could ever jailbreak their new Iphone 3GS with the aid of the Dev-Team’s Quickpawn Jailbreaker but as of the moment only Geohot’s Iphone 3GS jailbreaker dubbed as the PurpleRa1n can jailbreak it. And please take note that the PurpleRa1n Jailbreaker only works with an Iphone 3GS 3.0 firmware not with the official and updated 3.1 IPSW firmware from apple. On top of that, PurpleRa1n Jailbreaker needs the latest Itunes lodged on your Iphone in order for it to run properly. By the way, PurpleRa1n Jailbreaker won’t run if you have Windows 7 OS on your rig. Subsequently, after jailbreaking your Iphone 3GS with PurpleRa1n Jailbreaker, you can use Dev-Team’s UltraSn0w unlocker to finally unlatch it from your extortionate wireless network provider. Deep Freeze-A Software Used Insted Of An Antivirus

Your computer is exposed to viruses? program erased accidentally? computer suddenly hangs after you install something? If you use Deep Freeze, those problems will be prevented. To use Deep Freeze, your computer should be divided into at least 2 partition. First is partition “master”, for computer systems installation such as Windows OS. The second is partition “secondary” for data, installer and backup. There are some users who use this software, divided their partition to 3 – 4 data / installer / backup. My suggestion, you can do so if your computer have a big memory and fast access hard disk (at least SATA) because the computer system will be slow, especially when loading. For Deep Freeze you will use your system partition or partitions “master” because this partition is the most often attacked by viruses or having problems with the OS when startup. For partition “secondary” no need to install Deep Freeze, because you do not want to lose your data or back to original position (before...

Blogger Adsense Convertor _Desktop Client

By default when you try to insert a java script code into blogger template you will get this sort of message “ Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup. “. So how do we get this thing away. one of the famous way is the famous  E-blog Templates " Ad Code Converter" You just simply take your Google Adsense Code ( or any other for the purpose ) go to " Ad Code Converter" And put the java script code in it ,the software will automatically convert it in the template acceptable code.
