Tweetmeme Has It's Own Url Shortner

http://nobosh.com/images/stock/raw_TwitterLogoBird_twitter_logo_bird.jpgJust when I thought that there were just about enough of these around, Tweetmeme go and release their own URL shortener, retwt.me, specifically for Twitter. Despite this, they don’t really add anything ‘new’ to the table.
Said to have been made over a weekend of pizza, code and coding, retwt.me comes with a sleek and sexy look and makes it really quite easy to shorten, share and analyse your links.
According to Nick Halstead, using and understanding retwt.me is really quite simple. It has 3 concepts:

  1.  Shorten – Shorten your really long links
  2. Share – Share your shortened links with your friends using the simple tools provided
  3. Analyze – Analyze your links, how they are being passed along, used, how many times they have been clicked and more
As you can see, a lot of URL shorteners can do these things such as bit.ly. However, since we have seen the rapid growth of Tweetmeme you will see the rapid growth of retwt.me URLs in your Twitter stream.
Halstead also assures every Tweetmeme user that you won’t be forced to use retwt.me as a URL shortener and you can continue using the one you want.
Personally I think it’s pretty good with a very neat look. What do you think?
