Trendmetr Lets You Compare which Search Term on Twitter Makes More Sound

Although it isn’t the first of its kind, Trendmetr is a live Twitter buzz monitoring tool that displays how many times a particular search term was mentioned on the world’s most popular micro-blogging platform in the last hour. Every minute, the “hotness” of search terms will be shown on a dB meters of different colors – Green, Yellow and Red. This tool is pretty useful as you’re able to find out whether an event, product or news is really being talked about on Twitter. Although Twitter Trending Topics can do the job for you, however, when it comes to comparison of a few companies or products, then Trendmetr would come in really handy.

To start, simply punch in a search term in the textfield box provided to find out how much noise it makes. There’s even a bar chart as comparison on the top to check out how popular a particular search term is. For comparisons, simply add more meters to compare buzz in real-time.
