iCharts: Turning your Data into Interactive Charts

When doing a presentation regarding about for example a company's Fiscal Year results, it's important to present your work mates charts iCharts-logoof the year's profits, revenues, cost, etc. rather than just showing them the boring raw data in spreadsheets. I know that you can create pie charts, line graphs using Microsoft Powerpoint 2007 by transfering data from Excel. The charts looks cool and eye-catching especially those in 3Ds. However, if you think that this isn't good enough, then try a Web-based app called iCharts.

iCharts allows you to create flashy and high-quality charts, share them with your friends, and embed them anywhere in the Internet such as in blogs, message boards, and even in Powerpoint slides. You can either upload your Excel spreadsheets or manually add data if you want. This service is free to use but require registration.

What's cool in iCharts is that you can drag 'n' drop your data on to the iChart by grabbing the column names in the list and pulling them onto the axis you want to place your data. Also, it enables you to add a Creative Commons license in your chart so that no one can reproduce your work without your permission.
