There are actually billions of songs in the world and maybe dozens have just been produced after you've finish reading this sentence. Even though there are so many of them available on the Web, why some music fans just it quite tough to search and listen to them online or maybe make a playlist for their songs. Now it's time to head to a flash-based online song search engine that lets you search the Web for any song you want.

Why JustHearIt stands out form others is because it not only helps you search songs with ease, it even allows you to create a playlist using a drag-and-drop interface and play them in the background when you're doing something else on the computer. The user-interface is also impressive.

For each search, it shows you the song, artist and album titles related to your input. To listen to it, simply click on it and don't forget to wear your headphones in case the blaring music disturb your family members or neighbors.The playlist has basic features such as play, stop, forward, rewind, shuffle, repeat, etc.

Of course, you can't download any music directly from the site since it's illegal to download songs without paying for them. JustHearIt is in private beta and users can still search, play, or create a playlist. You can participate in the beta to try out the member features. However, it's by invitation only. As a member, you can create a media library that enables you to build your online music collection and listen to it anywhere.

You might wonder whether JustHearIt is illegal or not. Well, the folks there claims that they pay for licenses from all major performing-rights organizations (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC).

This wonderful service is created by two young entrepreneurs and students - Nicolae Ivanescu and Cosmin Panait. Their objective of creating this free app is to "change the stereotype that free music is illegal while immersing the user in a unique visual experience".

What would be interesting is the video capabilities of the G2 (if there are any). The current rumors suggest that this handset would hit the shelves...
