RentWiki integrates rental streams to help you find a place to live

Twitter is not just for answering the question “What are you doing?” anymore. How about using Twitter to help you look for a place to live? RentWiki.com has added a feature that streams Twitter conversations of neighborhoods and allows renters to post specific questions via Twitter. Via live feeds, conversations give renters an idea of the local residents, social scene, and reviews of the area. From the Twitter feeds posted on each wiki, renters can glean the type of people that live in the area, listen-in on the conversation, and interact with locals by asking for advice. Not all neighborhoods though have conversations going on. Also, businesses can obviously ask people to talk about their neighborhood to get some traffic going. Any other downside?

Microsoft working on a new search engine named Kumo?

According to a source close to Microsoft, the Redmond company shall be rolling out a whole new search product later this year codenamed Kumo. From what rumors believe, it is actually going to be the rebranded form of Microsoft Live Search which was expecting an upgrade for long. However, no source so far explains whether this is an individual search project of Microsoft or a replacement for Live Search. A sneak-peak of Kumo, provided by AllthingsD , can be seen above. If we claim to know Microsoft good enough, we are certain that 'Kumo' is just another codename for the search product while it is in its early phase of testing and the final product will definitely have a whole new name and look. As for the search product itself, it looks to be quite innovative with a simple and clean look. All the search results are organized in a brilliant manner with an explorer pane on the left that helps the user in finding relevant information for the related search keyword. Interesting, a s...

Free N-Gage Game Code from Nokia

Nokia N-Gage gives out free games and game codes occassionally, and this month again they are giving away a free game codes to every N-Gage Arena username. Last time I remember they gave out free licenses to FIFA 09, and after that N-Gage users in India got free game codes from Nokia. And this time, it’s UK’s turn to get free codes. Getting your free game code is very easy. Just visit NGage Wizard and enter your details. Your free game code will be emailed to you. You can use this game code to purchase any game you like from the N-Gage Store. First this promotion was for all worldwide users, but today they changed it to UK N-Gage users only. I wasn’t able to get one either. Bad luck, I guess. Update: The N-Gage Wizard website is down for maintenance at the moment.
